Audi v6 Convertible - MAF or MAP sensor ?

A work freind has a '95 2.6 V6 Audi (80) Convertible

It is mainly a weekend car, when he drove it last he says that it felt sluggish and it also has previously stalled at the lights a couple of times.

I told hime to IPA the MAF if it has one but he had a look and cannot find one, does anybody know if these cars had a MAF or MAP sensor ?

The 2,6L ABC engine doesn't have a MAF, as in the AAH 2,8L version.
Unless it's hidden, I can't find one. My car's also a 2,6L.

Certainly doesn't run a MAP sensor either.

It runs a speed sensor in its place.

Check with your friend if the battery has recently been disconnected, or gone flat.
The car may need a throttle body re-set.

Failing that, may just as well check fault codes.

No air flow meter is listed in teh family album that I can find, AAH only, no ABC.

The 2.6 DOES NOT have a MAF!!!It uses a SDS or Speed Density System (sorry,not Speed Sensor!oops!).

The 2.8 clearly has one just after the airbox as per usual arrangement.
