Hello guys,
I have left this a bit late as per usual but I'm off tonight on a 3400mile round trip to Italy (Tuscany).
Rough route and brake down is:
Totnes to Dover (4am ferry Friday morning)
Dunkerque to the Ring via the scenic mountain route (arriving in the evening in time for a lap or two)
Ring to Arezzo in Tuscany, Italy via the alps, probably spending a night in Switzerland too. Planning on leaving Nurburg Saterday evening hopefully arriving at the Italian destination some time on Monday after noon.
Then back from Italy maybe clipping the lower half of the alps and in to France for a bit where ill be staying in Bordeaux for a few days before heading back up country to Dunkerque to catch a ferry back to the UK.
Time schedule for the whole trip is 10 days and I'm planning on using no more then £800 worth of fuel.
Can any one recommend any alpine passes or really nice routes through the Swiss alps? I haven't driven there before so any pointers tips would be much appreciated as i want to give the RS2 a good run for its money
Cheers and keep out of trouble why I'm away
P.s. The weather in Arezzo is a cool 33c atm
