Rain was quite bad coming back from brum earlier, at least jas/sal/jamo etc was able to shelter inside when I was going, I was out in it for about 10-15 mins and was drenched.

Ironically, I live on the edge of the Fens, my house is only about 16 feet above sea level (which is quite high for round here) and it never ever floods....

......Those pot smoking partner lovers that are the crazy Dutch must know their 5h!t when it comes to dykes (puns intended)

Last time there was all that flooding, we were organising a triathlon in the area and we were deluged (another intended pun ) with emails saying presumably we were flooded as we are the lowlands and was the race cancelled. No one would believe that we just don't get floods here due to all the large shaven headed dungaree wearing wimmin.

          Cheers n

They scare it into submission by screaming at it that it is obviously male misogynistic water that has no right to encroach on the sensitive female Fenland soil

Bloody hell, how does anyone lose a car like that on a stright with that much traction?

I think the driver had been watching too much Knight Rider. He almost made it across too.
