Germany:any custom taxes for goods imported from USA?

Hello, all of you German users

I plan to order 3071 turbo kit from 034 motorsport. Idea is to order it to my friends address in Germany, to avoid terrible tax here in Croatia. But does he have to pay some kind of the tax in Germany, too ?

As far as i know all countries inside the EU get charged a certain amount on imported goods(from outside the EU), you would have to check with the german government website.However a friend of mine makes and sells surfboards and says that out of all the countries he has sent them to germany has some of the highest import taxes around.

Yeh germany prices are high, Sweden also have a high rate

Nah Germany and Sweden have low tax In sucky Denmark we pay 25% in tax on products.

However all EU countries have to import duty and tax we getting stuff from the US.

My advise would simple be to try and get 034 motorsport to put a lower amount on the package, then you will only be taxed of that amount.
