hi,

in order to bring some pics and infos of the S6 Revo S.

This was as far as i know a limited edition of 50 or 75 S6 saloon and avant with 375HP.

But let´s have a look on such a car:



On this picture you can see that this car is number 11. All changed parts are on the sticker listed, which made a S6 Revo S out of an normal S6 Avant.





Sticker-Translation left side without the part numbers:

Turbo ( don´t know what turbo that is but i try to figure out)

exhaust manifold ( IIRC RS2 )

downpipe

cat 1

cat 2

exhaust pipe 1

exhaust pipe 2

right side without part numbers:

Middle-Silencer and Rear-Silencer ( you can see only ONE part number, means there had been a "one-part" exhaust system from SMS)

intake manifold ( the rare SMS 2 chamber IM )

ECU ( IIRC a changed S6 ECU with a 3,0bar sensor)

springs front axle

springs rear axle

Also the blue sprayed or powder-coated valve cover was standard on these cars. BUT this was also done on normal S2 or S4 or S6 which only got remapped or some other small things done on the cars.

Like the MTM-Sticker on the rear of the cars which had been at MTM for whatever.

Did they run the 375hp car on stock internals or did they modify these as well?

i just forgot:

there had also been:

The normal S6 Revo with 303 HP / 6500 rpm and 390 NM at 2200 rpm.

and the

S6 Revo S has 375 HP / 6000 rpm and 510 Nm at 3300 rpm.

The normal revo has:

EM
Turbo
ECU remapped
Wheels and tires
Suspension

Price 115.000DM. Means now round about 60.000Euro.

The Revo S was round about 150.000DM. -> ~80.000Euro

There had also been S4 Revo but NO S4 Revo S. The 2 chamber manifold and the 375HP Version was only available on the S6 basis, not on the S4 basis.

The S4 or S6 Revo or S2 Revo had a SMS "sticker" on the normal intake manifold. Also in the same blue color as the valve cover on the pictures.

1997 ur-s6 sms revo s

I have a 1997 ur-s6 sms revo s that did 270whp but running very rich.
It feels stronger than my chipped RS2
