    Homefries OUTSTANDING

May I take the first line to thank S2cental.net very much for the way he delt with it. not only the the supply of a loaner ecu but also the speed in which it was done.thanks again.

For the guys who have not got it done yet get it done its worth every penny.

I took my car out today for the first time since having it done and I was blown away, but alas things didnt last long.it blew a pipe (my fault, dont ask)fixed that down a fast twisting back road(very dodgy),got going again whent for a few miles then it happened, about 3500 revs it started to hold back and started to fire on 4 potsgot it home and I stripped the wiring down for the coilpacks, it was a bit bad to say the least, replaced all of the wires from packs back, it started a treat but alsas it still misses under full boost but its still a lot quicker than most of the cars on the road.
I,m still going to ADI but not around the track until I can get this sorted.anyway the misfortunes of the day are not S2cental.net fault, they the coilpacks which are on there way outmore cost. I was told that you need deep pockets or dirty hands to own an S2 but at the moment i've got both.but one is now empty.

Have you checked your plugs? The extra boost & temperature may have pushed them over the edge. Just a thought!

Great to hear another amazingly positive review of Paul's chipset. Makes me ask myself once again why I haven't yet done mine ...

Homefries are the future aren't they? I've not long had mine done and the difference is phenomenal. I too had a few problems, as I was doing other jobs to the car at the time, none of those were Homefry related though.

My S2 now frightens me again. Smiles all round.

              thanks guys.but
wat seems wierd to me is that I'm getting a smell of petrol at the time of missfire
checked all the fuel lines ok ,if its the coils or sparkplugs why would i smell fuelI'm at a loss at the moment .Ah just had a think would it be the charcoal filter??? and its a ba$%^&(d to get to. but why would that get saturated dosnt make sense.I know its to with breathing of the fuel line.
Anyone got some quick anwsers, please
its doing my head in now just before ADI

If it's misfiring then it's failing to ignite the fuel/air mix in the cylinder and then this mix gets dumped out the exhaust valve. Not quite sure why you'd smell it though cos surely it'd just vanish out the exhaust pipe!

You could need a new Lambda sensor, also check the vacuum hoses to the fuel pressure regulator are o.k

I'd be tempted to replace the Lambda. I did mine before it got that bad but it threw up a similar code on VAGCOM.
