It was good to watch, I enjoyed it and was pleased with Hamilton winning. Definately had me on the edge of the seat.
Let them rag round in tin tops next year in the p*****g rain at Anglesey or Cadwell and see how well they get on then

The tin top drivers (and the commentators for touring cars) always make me laugh - they think they're the hard nuts in the rough and tumble of racing, but half those pansies would crap their pants if they rolled a single seater!Martin Cutting

Well at the end of the day DaimlerChrysler is the majority shareholder of the McLaren Group as well as engine supplier to the Team McLaren.
If the team it's based in England and therefore it's an English or British team does'nt make any solid difference.....
McLaren it's owned by Mercedes so it's a German property.
I was referring to that rather then where the Team Racing Licence it's registered...
I must say on the other hand that Ferrari it's also owned by Fiat group the small difference it's that the owner's comes from the same country.........
Alll teams are meltingpots of big brains from all over the world but to me this particular thing makes a difference.
Ferrari it's like my National team.

It's merely where the money comes from Stefano ...yes it is property, but in the same way my Audis and my VW must therefore be English rather than German, because I own them!Martin Cutting

All I am saying is the McLaren cars are made in the UK and so are the engines, the money comes from Germany. It's not that complicated either! But whatever anyone thinks, it was a thrilling championship.Martin Cutting
