its been for sale for a year at landspeed.co.uk and yes they are very rare indeed. cant mind actual numbers about just under 1000 ever made and about 100 or so in saloon form.
the first quattro gmbh car predates the RS4/6's never officially imported to the UK. I was very interested in it but the price is a tough one, it is a bit of history but the price is was too much, although it tortures me just looking at it! european ones go for between 5-10k depending on condition. but it does have some sketchy areas. Lights, first of the xenons, 700euros a side! it is pretty different from the V8 S6 of the same era, not just power all new brakes and suspension, snazzy interior, external trim is all black anodized as well. its a bit of Audi history but for that money your into RS2 territory... but if you like really oddball, buy it! Yep i questioned the Ad as well, the only concern i had for it was the lack of history given its rarity that would be crucial.
