S6 Plus?

I think Audi produced about 850 s6 plus models but I am not sure if they where all avants like the rs2 or not.

Most of them are Avants but there are Sedans also.

I even think there exist a S6 revo with 380hp 2.2T engine

The "Revo" was not a quattro Gmbh program like the S6 plus. I don't know about an S6 Revo avant but I know there was a Revo S4 Avant with a 375 hp AAN done by SMS Tuning. This car is described and compared to an RS2 avant in the June 1994 issue of Rallye Racing, starting on pg. 50.

Ah oki But same Tuner SMS made a S6 version with that engine. Ive seen 2 for sale in Germany a year ago..

Friend of mine has one of these. Mighty nice car, but for someone used to turbo cars, it feels lacking. My friend's car has been tuned by a reputable Audi tuner, and they claim it now produces close to 400hp. We found that it produced 250hp at the wheels in 2nd gear, the same as a stock RS2. We threw out the cone filter and installed stock airbox with paper filter and gained 5hp at the peak and up to 20hp lower in the rev range. Here is a graph that compares G-Forces in 2nd gear of the "400hp" S6+ vs that of an A4 Quattro with a 1.8T remapped with BSR PPC. In defense of the S6+, it is heavier and has longer gearing, but the graph clearly illustrates why we all love turbo cars

I'd deffo have one in an instant. The avant is really appealing at the min. Can't afford the price tag tho!

The sound of the 1.8T is nothing comparing to the V8.

I have a S6PLUS instead of my S2 3b with 275hp, the 4,2V8 loves high rpm (max 7200rpm)

And the PLUS is realy faster, the 4,5,6 gear are shortened so it feels very sporty, top speed is the rpm limiter in 6

The mid torque from the S2 is much better, but at high rpm the V8 is faster, i'm sorry to say, but I like the V8 more, very solid, direct power and like's high rpm very much!

Would love to but it's still gonna be alot to run it and at the min my mortgage is bordering the 950 mark and thats the priority

Do you or anyone else have a link to the gear ratios in the S6+ DGU 6 spd transmission? Curious to see what they are. This is all I have as reference now:
