I have defected!

I've been looking for a replacment for the S4 recentley, and after failing to find a C5 S6 for sensible money I ended up with this







It's an AMG E55, 5.4 V8, 355bhp and 400lb/ft of torque, 5sp auto. Traction is a bit of an issue obviously, but apart from that it's fooking awesome
And despite what you might think, it dosn't use much more fuel than the S4.
Oh, and the price, £4250 Arn't recessions great!

Well at least you went for something interesting, in the current climate would have been easy to get some boring rep-mobile.

have you managed to get any drifts/donuts out of it

I drive one of these for work very quick and handle well in the dry, **** in the wet
the ESP cuts power very badly in the wet besides that a good drive.

Oh dear, there's no going back now. Every car you have will have to be auto and have seat controls in the stupidest possible place - on the door panels.

It will drop to bits and the electrics will go wrong, so have a year's fun in it and get rid of it before it costs you serious money!

A lot of car for £4250 though.

We hired a Mustang in SF a while back and drove up to Yosemite, bit of a dissapointment, like driving a big sponge with a polo engine Still managed to get done for speeding though

Nice Merc, phenominal amount of car for the money - wouldn't trade the Audi for it tho I'd be tempted for that AMG V8

@Newsh have to agree with the mustang, went out in one and thoroughly unimpressed with everything except the sound. Those yank cars still fail to impress me. Our recent trip left me throughtly dissapointed with the Dodge 'hi-output' 3.5V6 I had, 262bhp and the 1.9TDI felt nippy when I got home!

Did you show the diplomatic immunity card when stopped by the local PD? I've been stopped for speeding so many times in the US and always had a 'warning' after some stern words... perhaps I should be more careful tho (thinks of 'Zed' from Pulp Fiction)
