    Thanks guys,

as always great advice from everyone on the forum I think the RS6 is out I have to be sensible. I will be putting the RS up for sale too, I still have 18 months left in Germany and the car has done less than 200 miles!! Looks like Mr Family man will have to take over and stay with a sensible family car.
So the RS is for sale if anyone is interested.
You might leave the S2 fold every so often - but you'll always come back!

Don't tempt me. It has to be Black or Ragussa green on an RS2....

      Best of luck Simon.

      Cheers,

      Steve.

Bigger injectors and possibly fuel pump, and you will get plenty of more oomph out of the RS2 by running on environmentally friendly E85:mischeif:
          1995 RS2 on Alcohol (6.8sec 100-200km/h)
          1994 80E Avant

I don't mind driving the car over here not at all it is the fact that it doesn't get used. The RS6 route isn't an option and I ask myself the question is it worth having the car just sat in the garage? It is MOT'd and insured but other than a day at the weekend if I am lucky she sits in the garage which, when still worth around £16k is an expensive toy. I think that is the best option as I can always say I have had one.

                    May I insert my oar?

A B5 RS4 nicely straddles the ground between the legendary RS2, and the big heavy expensive lump that is the RS6...

                    You could do worse.
