He turned in 100m before the corner? I think it is simple, he carried too much speed into the corner (don't think he braked) and scrubbed off the speed by turning in extremely early. This time he couldn't scrub off enough speed.............

And Error404, I agree, he was using the fancy diffs etc to save him by not driving the proper line.

cheeky corner that too, stood on the bank seems pretty simple but it does have almost a double apex and the camber is flat or almost a little off so you need to treat it with respect.

Show-boating only usually ends up with you showing up the limitations of your talent Me, i prefer smooth on the track, i'll stick to tail out antics for the carpark in the snow rather than learning at 9o+mph on a corner with grass as the last braking surface

As others have said, if asked for that. . Very tricky corner to get right, you always feel there's another 10mph left in it.

The scooby seemed to faster and faster though the corner on each lap, maybe someone should tell him that by following said tactics the inevitable is going to happen, all cars have there limits especially when you dont follow the 'correct' racing line.

to be fair i think that the scooby's speed was spot on, if you wanted to drift the corner, i mean at the end of the corner he is lined up perfectly, stopped sliding and ready to power on down the straight.......he just forog to to put his steering wheel straight lol. have to agree with David tho, if your going to practice...which to make a mistake like that you must be, do it somewhere safer....but i have got myself into a drift on a quattro before, back when i had a beemer, and i kept the lock on till the last second....as you do, only i found out the hard way that on awd cars you dont do that...you need to straighten up long before!!! ended up sending a series 2 cq to the scrapyard

as for that evo.....how do they put on basically race spec evos and i guess a saxo?!?! ADI do i know but people dont race..not properly at least....i think his view of the car was blocked by the two other cars, so i dont know if he is to blame or the event organisers. both i expect!! still if you have a car like that i'm sure you have ins.....

A guy at work knows Simon Norris, I thought somewhere that the video of that crash might pop up! Not sure but I reckon he would have managed the corner if that 106 or whatever it was wasn't in the way, I guess it was a race with different classes on track at the same time or something?
