on advice im after an O1E gearbox, also what sort of price should i be looking at to get one, anybody?, cheers wez.

If the it's the 3B box your after then I may be able to help, I'm toying with the idea of using a CRG six speed box on my 3B project and if I do I will be looking to sell my five speed box. I have all the six speed parts required just need to make my mind up.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

I have a 6 speed 01E CBL from an S4. £200'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.Comment

Wez, you'll need mounts and a linkage too.
You need to change the centre bearing in the flywheel.
You need the ABY clutch slave.
The prop shaft will be a little too long so get one from an ABY or just a front section from an Avant.
You can either use the 3B subframe with a spacer or fit the ABY subframe.Comment
