Clarkson has built the Top Gear show up, I think he will also be the demise of it.

Despite everyone finding him incredibly pig-headed and annoying - he made Top Gear what it is today (notice how the guy in Fifth Gear desperately tries to speak like him - aenouciating every second word)

Still, I was disappointed with how Top Gear has become, everything is far too staged and it's all scripted!!! What happened to good ol' improvisation?? AND I would like to learn about Cars please....not bikes. Boo.

Sorry, but that Vietnam special really miffed me, I still can't get the words "Born in the USA" out of my head.

I spent a month in Vietnam in 1992 (Hanoi, Ho Chi Mihn City (Saigon) and Hai Phong (but no Ha Long Bay). Somehow I missed the sparrows. However, I did have pidgeon soup, complete with pidgeon heads (skulls at that point). I was threatened with the snake heart in vodka but escaped. However, I did have turtle wine (I didn't want to know) -it was more like Vodka infused with turtle. Like the French and the Chinese, the Vietnamese have learned to eat things that normal people would starve to death without eating.

JC is an **** and a legend rolled into one... The big oaf does drive look a hooligan most of the time, but there is no disputing the gems of automotive comedy that he comes off with. He also said some nice things about the S2 in his day - so thats a bonus. If I'm in the wrong mood though, I can't watch him.
