Hi guys just a few more questions......

What sort of power can the engine take without going down the forged pistons, h section rods etc route. I.e what will it handle reliably standard.

If a rs2 manifold, injectors and turbo was fitted what sort of power could you expect? Can the home fries chip already on there be readjusted for the rs2 setup?

      Cheers

In excess of 400bhp is easy on the stock pistons.... probably a lot more actually - there are other threads on this.

Stock rods are good for 500-550Nm territory - you can squeak more at higher risk I'd say.

There is a homefry available on the RS2 setup (turbo, EM, injectors and IM) that gets into comfortable 350-360bhp territory with a very safe setup circa 450-470Nm. I'm working on more aggressive versions that retain plenty of safety margin but they will push higher boost, creating more torque and eating more fuel along the way.
