Ended up spending the V6Q money on a new camcorder and some feckin curtains - there is no justice in the world...
V6 quattro sedan is calling to me...

Awh, dont know now. Actually I bought it as I thought my A6 was dead, turns out it isnt now but I've taken out insurance on the car now and well, I like it, always liked the 80. I have 2 now, this and a cabrio. TBH it was a great excuse to make the wife let me buy one, had thought about the S2 and then this came up (much cheaper too
) Where abouts are you from anyway?
Thought you'd spent the money on curtains

I'm Larne direction... I was joking about curtains BTW... I think you paid a fair price for it - I had 750 in my head, but I'd pay you the original asking price if I could sway you... Theres easy cash for you... but if you're not for selling then fair enough. Just don't turn up at the next forum gathering over here with it all shiny and resplendent to rub in my face

Gatherings ?
Oh yes - they are a bit less frequent than I'd like... We had about 6 cars at the GTi event in Castlewellan last year and about the same at a wee pub somewhere north of Drogheda. Bizarrely it went on fire shortly after we left - but none of the lads has claimed responsibility yet - LOL...
I'd like to do another one round Easter time when the weather is hopefully a bit friendlier - a few of the lads have been asking.
Pheckin look after my V6Q now won't you - I've never been as irked by a lurker on here as you getting that car one day before the seller actually returned a message, but no hard feelings - only myself to blame really. A-R-S-EPaul Nugent

Hmmm...wouldnt mind taking a run to one of these gatherings
I actually didnt even see this post untill after I bought it (was told about this topic by someone else after) and didnt see it on the usedcarsni site either, it was put in the buy and sell and I only bought the paper saturday lunchtime (was actually looking another diesel A6 to replace my daily runner). Didnt even say it was a quattro or a price

Ah well I don't hate you so much then if thats the case - Heheh...
I only found it online by luck as well - thats why I thought it was for me. Dunno why the owner was so averse to answering his phone last week otherwise it would be on my driveway. Rats...Paul Nugent

look at it this way, at least it's still known to you and I've been a classic car nut for 14 years, I've rebuilt an opel manta from a bare shell and it won its class in the national concours event at billing last year, it's in good hands
