right.. thunderbirds are go. we've sold the house and are planning a move somewhere in late October probably. The only problem there is the house sold faster than I was expecting (11 days) so between the work I had to do to sell it and the second baby I didn't get a chance to buy a LHD car yet. So with the import rules stating that I have to use the car for 6 months before I move there I think i'm screwed

Alas those clever Finns have thought of that and so I need to have lived outside Finland for a year before officially moving there and importing my car without paying the tax (referred to oddly as "removal"). I can visit Finland in my time before my official move for a maximum of 72 days over the year. Of those 72 days I can do 40, or maybe 50 if i'm lucky, consecutively.
