Part number for the seal is: N90461401 specs: 9.5x2.4. It is supposed to seal around the top of the inserted part in the block, not inside.
The part number for the insert is: 034103635E.

      I made my own.

Ordered myself a new one from VW Germany for 14 Euro. Couldn't bring myself to pay 78 Euros for the dipstick!

              Hi Alex,

Did you manage to get this adapter out of your old block?

              Cheers, Steve

Hello, for S2 3B it is the same system - I have an oil leak out there and I would like to know how to remove the guide from the oil dipstick.

                GREETINGS AND THANKS

My original 3B block didn't need an adapter. The dipstick tube went straight into the block. The later build 3B block I have actually has an adapter that's the same as a diesel block. Best to check what you have by measuring the adapter when you drift it out of the block.

Diesel block adapter on the left. AAN adapter on the right. Thanks to AndyP for supplying the diesel adapter and Alex for making a copy of the AAN item

So in 3B doesn't have any shell casings or anything like that? and how's the original cannula tucked in? Does it break when you take it out?

                    Best regards

3B dipstick tube is pressed into the block directly. It is impossible to take it out with hands, and If you try to tack it with some tool, you will squeeze it.
Maybe there is a chance to press it out or knock it out from inside/bottom of the block.

The 3B pipe is pressed into the block. You can get it out with a suitable drift via the underside of the block. 3B on the left of the picture in the post above.
