Most likely your gauge face is peeling a little bit and thats stopping the needle from moving freely.

Happens to every s2 at some stage so i wouldnt worry about it.

You can have a set of these when they are done

    PM sent

180 will work on 160 speedo, in effect the extra 20 MPH is just added on the end.

Will these 180mph guages fit in place of 160 mph ones? if so will they read right? If anyone bought the blue ones last time and wants to go back to red, i may be interested in your blue ones pm me

    Thanks

    Jim

The inverter that changes 12 - 14v to the plasma gauges couldn't handle so many inputs, so the only way to do it would have been to run separate inverters per warning light and that would have been a night mare and cost loads per set.

    Bo,

Could be done with 12vdc relays switching the 14v signal with one inverter gizmo.
Just have to have small pcb with 1 relay per warning lamp

Would have been sweet with your idea of boost gauge in the old warning lamp position

    cheers

I know you said the GB will have its own thread but if there is a list I want to be on it for a full set! Interested in matching boost gauge too.

I did have a quick look and it appears screens are available with linux built in to the circuitry. I am sure one of these could easily be programmed to do something a bit more modern. Maybe this is for a new thread but if anyone can supply knows what the inputs are?
