Koni Audi S2 Coupe Quattro 2.3E-20V Turbo (type 89Q) 1990-1995 Single Front Adjustable Sport Damper 86 2086SPD2.
These dampers have a 7mm allen hole in the top which means as jamo has stated, they must be removed to be adjusted.

I have seen koni dampers(various coupe and quattro's) with a tab on top of the damper which can be adjusted on the car, but are not listed for s2.

Well, thought about this again but have not investigated any further. has anyone got the piston diameter for early Koni shocks?? Then i could just stick the calipers under there and measure mine=)

i fitted koni shocks last year. they are not top adjustable on the car. they are the twist type. dfor some reason s2 ones are like this not sure why.

i also got koni springs. green as mentioned. i got some coupe hR ones and they are a greeny-blue colour.

OK, you dont think you could measrure your pistons mate? I´m going to check my springs again to see if it sais H&R or Koni on them or if i find a part nr..
