The only 'hassle' I was wary of by using Ben's new arrangements for getting original parts were in co-ordinating couriers for collection, but this has proven to be incredibly easy on all of the occasions that I have ordered stuff. I got an account setup with www.payperparcel.co.uk with his and my address saved for quick reference - then its just a couple of mouse clicks and a paypal transaction and you are done. Just tell Ben when collection is setup... magic happens and it arrives on your doorstep a couple days later.

Ben is one of the few Audi partsmen in the country that have intimate knowledge of the S2 and RS2 so you are in very safe hands - and we forum members get a healthy discount into the bargain.

I have one idea that might be a nice way to standardise how we deal with Ben and this TPS hosted trial - if there could be some agreed spreadsheet or document that Ben prefers we use for parts quotes and orders. I have one that I use myself, but I bet others have something different and Ben just slogs the data in/out of his system for the answers.

So its a question for Ben really if there is a specific format that he would like to see orders in - just to make it easier to process them and have a preferred way of working ?

Would it be an idea to have a sticky somewhere with all the contact details and the correct format?

(Or is it already there, I haven't looked! )

Actually - a web jockey like yourself could really go to town properly here... with a web-based quote & ordering system - integrated on the forum pages - and linked to Ben's TPS database for instant and electronic gratification... And then we could recoup commission on orders placed by forum members... BIG project

Are all the TPS branches basically seperate companies, or are they one and the same?
I've apparently got one round the corner form where I work, but I haven't found it yet!

                    Agreed!
Thats seems the best way forward. Think I did pose the question on whether to centralise this! As others have pointed out we also get someone who actually has an in depth knowledge into the bargin!
So a sticky with all the relevant details would be good. Also if that particular courier gives good service then we can make them a partner. Must admit I was discouraged by using a certain courier to collect as they required you to print the labels out for the collection!

All TPS centres are owned by VW UK. However they are staffed by people from a VW or Audi dealer within their designated area. Basically it all boils down to what dealer was selected to run it when they were first launched a couple of years ago

                            Just a quick note.

I used Ben's fine service for the first time this week.

                            BANG ON

Parts all correct, arrived sooner than expected, phone call when they where in and a nice bit of discounting and then more discounting when I got to the counter !!!!

                            Top service top man.

                            cheers
