Yea I saw the beetle, it looked great. No mention of the rusty roof when the roof lining was taken down, or no check on the chassis. Its a pity that the guy who sold it went to the trouble of getting a vintage repair panel, but the lads slapped in a recon engine with new hub caps and bumpers. It struck me that if you wanted a car of that age you wanted it as original as possible (re: golf blue on the respray)
And
at Mikes end float check 'looks ok' . Showing the audience that its fine and then Ed calling it scrap. Seems like the editor wants to show mike up a bit.
