Any chance of some gromits being added to the holes you're running the fuel pipe through? Death by inferno isn't a nice way to go

after the front coil springs have been cut

also wanted my head lights more yellow so i took my bulbs out and coloured them in with a yellow Sharpie pen

splitting the fuel line very time i go over a speed bump then sparking down the road,

This is yet another example of stupid maxxers trying to copy a cult that already exists in the form of rat rods ...old cars which haven't received extensive body repair or respray, preferring to exist on the patina of their untouched sheetmetal. Works nicely on a 1930's car (preferably one with decent thickness on the factory sheetmetal, and a separate chassis!) - but this smacks of wannabe in every sense...

Seen better Ratty looks, but its not that bad, One of the VW Magazines did something similar to a mk1 Golf GTi.

Some nice ratted cars at the recent VW All types aswell at bodelwyddan castle, and maybe it doesnt look like it but christ peopled looked after them

Being someone who washes their car maybe twice a year - I have a lot of patience for the 'rat look' but this is just what happens when you try to hard. The most glorious ratty thing I ever saw was a 1960 something Pontiac GTO in Florida a few years back. Man that thing was rough looking, but still oozed character cos it had just aged that way - it wasn't done artificially. It smoked like a trooper too, but sounded amazing as well.

I'll have to check the thread again as I don't know if he has actually sold it or not, he didn't mention it. I havn't seen it around but do know that area and surprised at the local cruise he has not had it towed away yet.
