You must have a problem if its not fast! Whats your 50-70mph in 4th gear starting from 45mph. My 3B homefried Cq will cover it in 3.1secs.

That is very quick for 4th gear, but the shorter gearing helps the UR vs the later cars.
If you are racing someone from 50, the last thing you want to be in is 4th gear. That is the mistake folks make, and lead them to believe that turbodiesels are fast. In a petrol car, you need to change gears. 50-70 in my RS2 takes a leisurely 3.5s in 4th, a much quicker 1.6s in third and 1.3s in 2nd.

That proves my 7A exhaust is holding me back at higher rpm as in 3rd the car is only 0.5 secs quicker at 2.5secs. Glad to see it replaced in 2 weeks...

made short race acceleration with an Merc E320 cdi , must say it s got some torque,

pulling from a corner in 2nd gear onto highway with a bus coming, the merc overtook on the right and me on the left, had to go out on the next exit, so i could not show him what pushes the most over 160 k/h ! speed limit was 90 !

I ll get a mini Coyote soon !

Anyway I backed off as i went past it the other day, a few pops from the exhaust, and it set the alarm off. Made me laugh... A bit like a pre-match joust

                  autobahn experience!!!

One of my most interesting experiences was on the autobahn heading south from koblenz and heading towards friberg wheren there are no restrictions, i was trying to keep up with a s class merc and a 7 series bmw and in my s2 there was myself, my brother and 2 sisters and we were touching 140 mph and these guys were bumper to bumper doing around 150 when all of a sudden the bmw who was behind the merc swerved across to the slip road but instead of slowing down speeded up to re join and slipped in front of the merc by this time i was at 155 mph trying to keep up but these guys just werent slowing down so i backed off and back down to 120. these guys clearly live by my stance in life which is "NO GUTS NO GLORY" haha

The other day as i was joining onto a private dual carriage way, i spot a new BWM 3 series coupe.. Looked half decent, so i thought i'd put a smile on my face by waving in the rear view mirror to the driver and his blonde, as i go off... I waited in 2nd, till he tried to overtake me and then gave it some welly... Much to my amazement i wasn't pulling away! We were side by side, and he was giving it as he was chasing his fellow in a new m3 saloon, which was long gone before i spotted it.

The guy backed off just before i changed into 5th...
i was curious to see what engine he had, so i slowed down at the end of the dual carriage way to let him pass... It was a 335Ci

He then signalled for me to put my foot down again as i was behind him, but again it was very evenly matched upto a ton or so...

If i'm right they've got around 300ish bhp? And i'm in a standard ABY, what's the crack?

Was he worried it was ranining, or can the old bird still hold her own?.. He did give a thumbs up afterwards though.. and then he witnessed a quattro launch in the wet

There is a local 335ci which i regularly see and have played with a couple of times on the dual carriage way.

Pretty much blow-for-blow and evenly matched.
