I love my car(when it works)

I have just fixed the boost leak that has been annoying me for about a month and been for a blast.

Nothing makes you appreciate the power if a working s2 more than after it has been running like a bag o spanners for a while. Plus the feeling of being pushed into the rear seat whenever you accelerate.

Anyway I just thought I would share my love and joy for a car.

The leak came from the small boost hose that connects to the throttle body, It had a massive split in it which ment I could only use half throttle or the ECU would go into limp mode. Thanks to Key Walshe for supplying me with a replacement hose.

Anyway I have just put £70 o petrol into her so I should have fun burning that of over the next couple o days.

You wnat to try having the car off the road through no fault of your own. It's been over a year now!
Maybe things will start to happen shortly now though

It is yea. I haven't got round to fitting new tyres to my rs4's. I am going away on Sunday to Glasgow to see AC/DC so I am saving my pennies for that but when I get back I am going to get the other wheels on.

Wehay, glad it's cured it! The disappointment I had when I first fitted that part, only to find another boost leak made me feel so low - fitting the Roose set and having full boost again caused me to have to readjust my driving again, other cars suddenly seemed to be going so much slower!! From having less than 0.4bar to be upto 1.4bar again has such a huge grin factor.

Good to know one little part has helped cure your problem...

Cool. Where did you see it? parked on the pier? Try and ignore the state of the alloys they are my winter/crap set after all.

I have been south quite a few times now and I am always on the look out for fellow S2 drivers but I have never once spotted one yet. Everyone must go into hiding when they hear I am coming.

I'm going to see them tomorrow in Dublin... All the hype is for worst traffic jams Dublin has seen in years - and that is bad for Dublin who rather excel in shyte traffic.
