had the ecu checked by a professional ecu company, my only other thought was its something they couldnt find (software maybe) but as for getting another ecu to try lets say my only 2 mates with aby ecu's have both declined incase i "blow thiers" lol

yes this is right, all 4 n75's i've tried have been connected correctly.

irishs2- and risk thier cars having no boost for a few minutes? (their not game with that idea either lol)

I'd test another ECU to be honest or send the ECU to S2central.net to repair / homefry it and test.

              Hi

First please don’t break the car if you can help it, though I fully sympathise having two none working ABY Avants on the drive!!!

If the car makes no attempt to boost and everything else is in good order it’s likely that the cat’s have collapsed. This happened to one of mine and I had some s/s pipes made to replace the cats, £180 at JP exhausts in Macclesfield. Total transformation the engine drove like new.

The fitter reckoned my faultfinding of buying new pipes was the expensive way. Apparently he would of disconnected the pipes just before the cats and wired the exhaust up out of the way, although a bit noisy me thinks.

              Good luck
              Adam

you sound down with it mate and we may not be able to convince you to keep here. once your pissed off with it its hard to get back on track.

there are lots of potentials. my boost on the standard ecu was sometimes better than other times. sometimes it fluctuated too.

id try a positive fix, which you may not like but id go with an EBC. (jamo i hear you yawn lol). if its running ok as a car but with poo boost this will be a good fix. set to 1 bar it will pull very well. if you do engine swaps im sure you have an lm-1 or something for wideband to ensure good fueling.

night and day on my car. also at least one other on here with an eboost 2 who's happy.

expext very high egt if the cat is blocking the way.

still addressing teathing issues jamo? or running in on spring boost?

seriously though these are no more problematic than a corrado G60 for instance and if you have do swaps for a living its gotta be doable.

do you get 0.4bar with no leaks and no n75 and without the manifold glowing. if so id go with some sort of boost/ecu/n75/ AIT condition related issue.

a boost controller will potentially make you happier than just a fix just keep an eye on egt and AFR.

when i first fitted mine i run 1.1bar dropping slightly at about 5000rpm. it went well and fueling was ok. spool was lightening compared with n75.

best of luck with your decision. could make a good aftermarket ecu project for somebody if not.

Spring boost, I've got a big fat spring to go in after it's run in and then get it mapped.

Big spring is the way forward, makes part throttle driving in traffic rather entertaining...

I'm used to it when the EBC controller was fitted, I prefer it although with the reverse inlet manifold it will be interesting as throttle response is already very quick
