Went down to order some bits and pieces and found this. The pearl white car has been there for quite a while, but this was the first time I have seen a shorty in the flesh. Sorry if it's a repost. I've got to go back to pick up my parts, so I'll try and get some more photos then.
nice,i think audi must send out a few of their collection to main dealerships here and there.I saw an S2 coupe in the centre of london a couple of years back
I WISH I WAS RICH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was that red stunner that started me falling back in love with 'S's again. I was in with my company car when i spotted it!
The both of them are actually privately owned cars on loan from the owners for display purposes.

Going by what I could see through the window, this one only had 3000Kms on the clock, still had stickers and molding marks on the tyres. I think it's pretty box-fresh.
the red sport quattro pictured was owned by the Patrick Collection in Birmingham in the 1980's when i worked for them.
the registration number was bought by us to go with the car as many of the cars in the collection had numbers suitable to the particular car hence the 44 for 4 x 4 & hok which the boss decided referred the car being left hand drive....
was never sure about that though.
i drove the car a number of times & the sport was the first (& only) four wheel drive car that i managed to spin in the dry.. whilst exciting a traffic island at quite a rapid rate of knots....
an awesome car & after years of not seeing it i am glad to have 'found' her again.
we also owned the ex malcolm wilson group b quattro rally quattro, in dunlop tyres livery & in normal wheelbase mode, which bore the registration number MVV 44Y.
this was also a great car to drive although it felt big & cumbersome compared to the sport quattro. so i would get back into the sport for a quick blast whenever i could get away with it!
i'm looking at some photo's of the car as i write this.
two great cars &if i ever had the money i would heaven & earth to own the sport. it is simply fabulous.
admittedly its not to everyone's taste however i adore the car. it is stunning to drive. when you hit the loud peddlethe nose lifts up, the back squats down & she's gone.
awesome acceleration, great exhaust noise, just one of life's great cars that enthusiasts love. or hate depending on your point of view.
i love it & i want it in my drive one day. just to annoy certain people....
if only cars like this were built now.
the sport is probably worth upwards of £45 - 50k. if not more. assuming that it is up for sale which i dont think it is.

If that was up for 50k i would buy it tomorrow.. i think it would be more than that..
