my lift is also a china model, works perfectly for me, little noisy only, but i can live with that price was 2000€ with shipping to the garage here..

One thing i've learned we are way behind the Scandinavians!

I paid less than a grand, knocked em down a bit.
The place i bought mine from is only up the road from me, so i haggled for there demo one.
its paid for itself already, I've dragged 3 of my cars through mot's with it, and like i said, the S2 was in a bad way underneath and would have been scrapped otherwise....

These Ramps are great for having a good floor area but the only draw back i found was fuel and brake lines as they get covered by tthe ramp the solution i found was to jack the car up on the floor and then put a couple of blocks of wood in then the rubber stops onto the lifting area this gives you a good 12" of space to do some work
Also floor plating is a right Bas if its on the extremities

                        cheers Raj

The MR-30 would work for me too - even in the limited height I have. In my dream world, I'd love to knock the stupid garage down and build a proper one that was man enough to accomodate a full height two post lift.

The other option is a full height one that is portable enough to be dragged/rolled outside on a dry day (whatever that is) as long as you have flat hard standing area... Oh that would impress the neighbours.
