I wouldn't be rushing to buy it!!
I do think the RS2 is an Icon.... But its not for me....
I HATE those cup alloys...
Sorry guy's just MO...

If i had the money, well i'd have 2 buy an rs2, purely for what it is.
As far as looks go, s2 coupe hands down!! i certainly wouldnt fit it with any rs2 parts! :mischeif:
I park my s2 coupe right outside the front door of my work, and the amount of people who appreciate its looks is surprising, and they always ask, "so, what is it then?...."

Shouldn't we be picking apart the BMW drivers
We already have a small group that even Audi has forgotten
so now we divide over two bumper stylz

For me I like them both for what they offer. Smooth and Sleek RS2 or Blunt and Raw S2.
Besides the Coupe has the best timeless shape of them all

About 6 years ago I bought an 89 2.2 kv coupe in unmarked Tornado Red, on 17" 5 spoke TSW's dropped 40mm and with an S2 front end, it cost me £1600.
It was midsummer and I took it straight to the local pub carpark, I pulled up like a rock star and the consensus said it was ten grands worth!
A few years later I got the S2 avant, I justified it as my missus was pregnant and we needed a "sensible family car", a mate who owns a "tricked up" rs2000 thought it was a Granddad car, he took the mick a bit til I took him out for a little blast!
So I love them both in their own way but I can't vote in this poll 'til I've had one with a badge that starts with R!
I'm really tempted to take the spoiler off a coupe though, I think that could be the box deluxe!Comment

Its hard to call i have a RS2 bumper and i am not sure if i will put it on the coupe but on the other hand i will not part with it as i get a right urge to fit it

With a rear like that?
Have to be honest I haven't owned an S2 or an RS2. Yet... But I will at some point. Ido have my S6 and I have had a few Coupes over the years though and I loved them all.
SO S2 or RS2??? Well if I was sat in one then I'd have the RS2 every time but from the outside? Has to be an S2 slipperwaggon for me. Does not matter how much I look at the rear of an RS2, I just don't like it.
From the front they have both held up well to the test of time and although the Cup wheels are not my taste I would have them on a car I owned. That RS2 rear just makes me wonder why every time though.. It actually hurts my eyes and makes me want to look for blue neons glowing from underneath. Spoils the looks of an otherwise beautiful piece of machinery...Comment

I'd like to think of the coupe as one entity (with raw looking s2 optics) and then another bracket holding the avant/sedan (with sleek rs2 optics).. just my 2p <:Andreas Lundstroem
