I hate top gear aswell! oh look! here's another supercar you'll never be able to own unless you win the lottery! lets tell you everything you don't need to know about it and talk cack like it sounds like the best music, IN THE WORLD! and its controls are as smooth as the smoothest things IN THE WORLD! its the whatever IN THE WORLD, and all of his other stupid likenings! and then there's test to see if a train or a plane would beat whatever car across wherever! oh and the point proved was NOTHING! its more about those three than anything else! but he is right in what he says about audi drivers! apart from me! I have read numerous comments from Clarkson of that nature, at one time he called the S2 the best car in the world because of its blend of refinement and performance. I think some of them were articles he wrote for the Daily Mail? I have a few books full of them i think came free with Top Gear magazine. Someday i'll dig them out and scan them....

Nicely put by the big man himself - a surprisingly mature attitude he had then... Clearly he forgot all that when he became the king of Sunday night prime time when he gets to act the eejit (usually hanging his tail out in some stupid tyre smoking drift cos he has 500yds of runoff area) in cars that are more expensive than most of his audiences homes.
