There can only be one kit that you need and it comes with TüV approval if that helps get the car MOT'ed in the UK?
www.hgp-turbo.de - the best your R32 can get.Comment

TUV doesn't apply to MOT in the UK thank god. There can only be one kit that you need and it comes with TüV approval if that helps get the car MOT'ed in the UK?

For an R32 the JBS dual turbo conversion is the best on the market

No the best on the market is a HGP biturbo kit.
And why thank god? The aprroval the HGP supplies is excellent. In Denmark this is the only why the car will become street legal and pass the MOT test.Comment

Thats your opinion, having seen the JBS kit upclose at a few shows it's quality
Having a piece of paper that says TUV does not equate to quality also it's legislates what can be installed on a car.
Doesn't exactly translate to modding does it?
I know how much TUV costs for a supplier and it really is a rip offComment

Then that is your opinion, but having seen the HGP biturbo kit on several cars in Denmark it is top quality.Thats your opinion, having seen the JBS kit upclose at a few shows it's quality

The purpose of the TÜV is to make the car legal in Germany and Denmark for that matter. Ofcourse it legislates about the car, that is the prupose of the approval. It would be a rather sad approval if you could simply slap on anything you wish for. But must be really nice to able to just slap on any kinda turbo kit and then drive it through the MOT in the UK, wish it was like that in Denmark.
Can't really see why the TÜV approval is a rip off. You would never be able to get the car through MOT in Denmark if you show up with a R32 with a 500 HP kit biturbo kit. The would demand that you can prove that the car still lives up to the Euro norme it was born with. Also you would need approval on brakes etc. The TÜV approval proves all this. The price for a Euro Norm test is around 3000-4000 euro.Last edited by Jonas_R; 1 October 2009, 10:50.Comment
