not ABY related I know, but I had an issue with speed sensor and crank position sensor fault codes being thrown up with both sensors functioning correctly, turned out the hall sensor was slightly out - does the ECU use the hallsensor as the "benchmark" and compare the crank position sensor and speed sensors signals to it?
Still no ignition. I have tried........

non start
well i have same problemMany thanks to all who replied with their thoughts and ideas of my no ignition problem. The ABY Coupe conversion is alive!!!

A very special thanks goes "The Great One" , "The S2 Jedi Master", Sir Paul Nuggent. aka S2central.net

He needs to be Knighted by the Queen for his great deed in solving my problem. Somebody over there start a petition to get him Knighted
!
His superior knowledge of the S2 wiring diagrams was the defining break in the case of the no start problem of my Aby converted US spec Coupe Quattro. I owe him many a pints at the local Pub when i hopefully come to the UK and visit
The problem was the immobiliser was not working. The theft system immobiliser info is a high security item Iam not at liberty to discuss the problem since I promised Paul.
Paul explain what can be discussed about my problem for the members what he sees fit..
Again many thanks to Paul and the others.
Best regards and safe drive

Thread bump. I'm having the exact same problem as the original poster. Car cranks, has spark, has fuel pump and fuel pressure. Injectors have power but do not get a signal to fire while cranking. US-Spec Coupe chassis, 1993 UrS4 AAN, ABY harness. The diagnostics check does fire each of the five injectors under the test, so things are connected correctly. Based on this thread I would really like to explore the potential for an immo issue causing my no start.
I've messaged Paul privately, but would anyone else be able to send me the PDF on fixing the issue with the Immobilizer? I'm happy to provide proof of vehicle ownership and project status via PM if needed.

Potential solutions to why your AAN-powered UrS isn't starting
Not sure about the source of your AAN ECU but if it was a 551AA from a NAmerican UrS4/S6 there is no immobilizer.
Have a read on this:

North American UrS4 AAN, will have to check the part number. Went through that entire post the other night. Everything checks out as okay, but the injectors do not get a signal to fire while cranking.
We have spark, it kicks over on starter fluid. This tells me Crank and Cam sensor are okay.
We have fuel to the fuel rail (fuel pump runs, lines hooked up correctly, with feed line removed we get over 100ml in 2 or 3 sec of cranking) (this tells me RPM sensor is okay)
ECU does not tell the injectors to open up and allow fuel into the chamber. Cannot find the cause?
