my first car was an audi coupe 2.2e 136hp FWD.i bought it with 17 years and 10 months in 2001 year.

always loved the audi coupe line because it is so beautiful¡¡

always believe know that my car was a very fast car with it´s 136hp and and if i am honest always think that the faster audi coupe was the 2.8version wowwwwwww

and after 6 or 7 years later...with internet in my home..a ramdom day bored i am home tried to google my car : "audi coupe"

and what was the sorprise?? Wikipedia page saying some data and info about our cars...and the diferents hp versions.and after reading the 2.8V6 version i saw "2.2 coupe=220hp"

this is wrong ¡¡¡ my current car it is the 2.2 version with 136hp not 220

i was continue googleing with S2 and ...yeah¡¡ pictures of this car in germany..and it comes with turbo¡¡¡ and QUATTRO

after this day my first think wan sell my coupe and look for the S2 version...2 months later my dream was completed

well I can't talk about S2s, but I saw a CQ when I was about 14 and fell in love, always wanted one, finally found one and bought it. Wanted more power so swapping to S2 power levels made sense so I built an S2...

              Short version: because of S2Forum

              Long version:
I hadn't seen or heard of an S2 a couple of years ago when I started looking round to find something fast, fun and in my price range.. Was thinking maybe of WRXs (but they're everywhere) EVOs and B5 S4s were too expensive - in the end I was going to find a nice low km E36 M3. Then I came accross an S2 being advertised locally and curious I started googling, ended up on S2central, S2forum, found old magazine articles on the net and when I called the seller it had been sold ..

A month or two later one popped up with 60K km on the clock being sold by a dealer in Melbourne so got it checked out by a local mechainic, haggled a good price, bought it and had it shipped over to Perth without ever having driven one or seen one in the flesh before....

I did want something a bit different to the usual wrx, etc on every corner and now I'm the proud owner of the only S2 in Western Australia.

I bought mine because I had dreamt of owning one for about 5 years after having a 1991 Audi 80 16v Sport and then an 1991 Audi 80 Sport Edition first.

It was the logical step up to a true wolf in sheeps clothing that will still surprise many exotica today.

I have sworn I would never sell it....

i bought mine because some bint ruined my corrado.

i would have bought a skyline r32 if i could find a decent one and bit were a little cheaper. i had a few 16v parts too that were interchangable.

the only really good bit is the tunability of engine for $£ and durability of running gear. the chassis is crap and the build is not that great otherwise they wouldn't leak and creak.

once you spend a few k on brakies engine and chassis it become ok shall we say or so it explained to a wrx this AM. think i had x2 his hp though.

I wanted a car with a lot of space in the back to transport my bike to the races. In the meantime that car has become my new hobby and I stopped racing bikes......for several reasons though

Don't mention it Andy. Ahem. I'd wanted an S2 after the 16v coupe I had proved to be totally gutless after running around in a 2l conversion MkII Golf for a few years.

I don't have the usual dream of owning one story. I was bored at work and was looking for something sensible to replace my B2 Passat.

I saw the S2 up for sale on the Autotrader website. I had no idea what it was nor it's performance/potential. Knocked the guy down from £6500 to £5000 over the phone as he wanted rid of it. Went to have a look and it was a shed so with a bit of 'gentle arm twisting' we knocked him down to £3200.

Bought it, took it to the garage and realised just how much of a wreck it was. Starting spending money on it and have been doing so ever since. I don't regret a penny of it though and would never sell it as too much blood, sweat and tears have been invested in it by me and Jason at the Lion (amongst others) to even consider it.
