I added a few other extras to the car that US spec cars never saw in the USA.
My plan was the same and I know a little bit of the wood/stain. If you need help, let me know.

I am not refinishing the wood. I was going to use the extra pieces I have to maybe try laminating carbon cloth with clear resin to create my own carbon parts.

BTW, I also have quite a bit of experience refinishing wood. I used to do varnishing on antique classic wood speed boats for 6 years while in High school and college. Chris Craft, Garwoods, Century were some of my favorite boats to work on.

Thanks for your offer. Your work I must say looks smoother than mine.

Coupe is looking great Joe. Did you end up wrapping your trims? It looks matte like Di-NOC from the pics?

Nice rear brakes. What is the rotor size on those? Does the e-brake work the same?

Great job there. Love the attention to detail.

What wing mirrors did you use? Did you have to change the rear hubs to use that brake setup?

Yes, the 3M film Dinoc. It is awesome. Looks and feels like raw carbon fibre. I did all the wood pieces throughout the car.

Those are the 300mm and yes the Ebrake works great. You just have to route it off those brackets on the subframe.

THose are RS2 mirrors. I changed nothing on the car for the big brakes. It was a bolt up and play setup that Audi Master Paul Nugent pioneered.

Ebrake cables just needed to be re-routed a bit. They all work perfectly.

I moved the battery to save space and to make it easier to work on. You can use any manifold. it makes no differance. I bought the battery box from a part seller in Germany.

If you have the battery in place the original collector will not hit it? From what I saw in your photos gives the impression that slope.

Glad to hear you have the S4 rear brakes working ok on the handbrake, I was going to do the same and move the bracket for the cables on the subframe so they had a shorter route

                                Joe,

Well done, respect for your perseverance and dedication.

As mentioned, go back to the bigger photos, they are so much nicer/easier to view when scrolling through a thread.

                                Kind regards.
