    Stealth?

I need new tyres, and have found some B5 Avus for sale with good tyres, but in need of a refurb... ideal chance for a change of colour

What do you think to the stealth look? (Remember my car has no chrome badges too!)

Personally I think it looks rather good (excuse the crap photoshop done borrowing Ben's car )

I would be using the B5 centre caps though as I dont think the S2 ones work with them

    Looks good, ideal winter look.

I would go satin instead of mat.

Not a fan of mk.2 avus wheels with mk.1 caps but black wheels are cool. Have seen satin and they don't look too good IMO, just look old and tarnished, not a good look on a car that is so shiney.

For me it's got to be a rich, dark anthracite with a shine a mile deep on your car.

I was also toying with anthracite, or something similar to the grey on here:

Can anyone confirm off the top of their head if B5 17" Avus need spacers?

I think they do, only the 17" Avus off the C5 S6 are a direct fit.

Grrr!, that idea might be off the cards then! Dont want to have to budget for spacers too :mischeif:

Kev's (Bambridge) spacers are cheap and top quality, £50 for 15mm hubcentric and £30 for plain 5mm, prices are for 4off.

Is that for a pair though?
£100 for spacers and £250 for the wheels would put me in the range for just getting some new tyres for my 18s, so may as well do that if Ive got to get spacers too

ET 45 so need 10mm spacers and longer bolts, 40mm at a guess. S6 ones are the ET 35 mk.2 Avus wheels.

Should get a set of 4 KU31s for £300 fitted.
