Its 1,300 dead.. the RS2 seats were only marginally heavier that the standard seats. No stereo or heavy speakers..has anyone managed to beat you yet, still remember the thread about the s4 trying to keep up with you on the slip road (oh and the loaf of bread thread)

No cats or heavy air box etc. Interestingly the exhaust is significantly lighter than the standard one..

Thats very good to hear, one difference with mine is i've got a dsy box to go in so that weighs slightly more and complete s2 running gear so slightly wider track (it just made sense as I want to do some upgrades and s2 stuffs a lot cheaper for me than urq)

My brothers caddy keeps peeing all over this mk1 oettinger thing we know. It's funny really. His caddy has no trY for extra weight saving. I have always loved the 1900 205 gti. And the 309 gti of course!Comment

our oettinger had 227hp on the crank on a MAHA roller. did the quattermile in 13,7, but was a beast on the ring. Friend of mine his mk1 golf ( smurfblue) is a nightmare for heavy tuned porsche gt3's on the ring.. that thing is damn fast.

I like old german cars that upset new "fast" cars. My brothers caddy has a mk3 2.0 16v abf block with kr head, potted n polished with stage 3 cams n r1 bike carbs n a massive manifold n scares everything it goes near n upsets most quick car driversComment

tim copper recconned my quattro was about 1100kgs, i ve stripped seats in back, lightweight buckets in front
no carpets or underseal, just light coat of paint!
same for other areas
300 ish bhp
but i think the non turbo gearbox makes a difference on acceleration
will get it dynoed and weighed this year, then i ll go on a dietComment
