You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links

Yes I know, its bird's eye maple and represents a fair chunk of rainforest but it's the shinyness that makes it look like plastic.
Grab a pint and call in the sandpaber, the clearcoat can allways be sanded off. After that treat it with some oli, and there you have unique set of wood inserts
Wood... plastic... sanded wood... etc etc, what ever... it all looks wrong!
Wood (and chrome) belong in cars from before the 70's, in anything else it looks crap IMO
