me and my friends had a little meeting tonight to discuss the trip to Rakkestad. First we had to decide which car to take as we all got multiple cars but non of the cars are suitable for the trip or allowed on the road. Hopefully we will get my mates 100 typ 44 ready in time...it still must be registered and MOT'd atm.
Then we had a look available options to stay during the weekend, we had troubles finding something for a reasonable price and not too far from the circuit. Looks like it will be a camping after all, not that we got a problem with that.
Also had a look on the English section of the Gatebil forum, seems like there is not a lot going on there.
Has anyone got more options for campings and/or B&B in or near Rakkestad?Comment

we'll leave on wednesday evening, so will be in Rakkestad thursday afternoon. Hopefully there is a place to sleep left in the area.
Oh and we still have work to do on the car that will take us there if everything goes as planned.Comment

Yes I do, but only because it's something that won't happen again soon. Gatebil will still be there next year. And to be honest, I've seen enough after 2 full days at the track, I only miss all the nice chicks there
