44 tonnes vs 900kg clio on wet road = No contest!

When was the last time you found yourself T-boned by a lorry? you really have to be doing something stoopid!

Considering the engine and the weight of that tanker plus the rain and wet conditions, I doubt he felt anything at all tbh.
I just don't buy it that the lorry driver was some maniac who wanted to punish the clio for undertaking him... that sounds a lot more far fetched.

      Also, she wasn't T-Boned.
She was undertaking him, but I guess her clio was not fast enough and when finishing her maneuver she clipped the corner of the lorry, which in turn turned the clio 90 degrees...

      Sounds quite plausible.

When I said T-boned I meant where she ended up. I can quite imagine how easily a dozy driver can clip the front of a lorry!

          Total ******* to me sorry
You ever been in the cab of a lorry like that? There are huge blind spots. If there wasn't much speed differential when the collision occurred, then I can imagine that the driver wouldn't have felt a thing. The torque that is produced by those engines would have easily masked an extra 900 kgs on the front of it.

You could always ask for the case to be reopened as you are unhappy with the findings.

You have to admit that whilst he may well not have been able to see her, she surely must have seen him.

Yet she still managed to pull out in to his lane before she was far enough ahead to not tag his front corner and get spun around.

He probably never moved his steering wheel and thinking he was going slightly uphill, eased his foot down a tad and carried on eating his Yorkie and watching porn on his 24V portable DVD (ahh, I may well have done a Clarkson with that last statement - sorry Beetie )

            Cheers n

Seems a fair decision to me, those Lorrys are mentally powerful.
