Yes I need to pop up to yours soon, I killed my daily so no transport currently

I've been messing with this today, biggest issue atm is the linkage for the 6 speed. I've tried two different ways already that people have suggested and both don't work so have another idea but still struggling with it.

How hard is it to sort a linkage out that works on this, its basically full s2 running gear but with a 6 speed dsy box, I need to check the top of it compared to a stock box as I think there is a molded nut fitting on the top that might be causing me issue's with the 2nd option I tried on the car that was suggested by will20v.

Once thats done I can start sorting the last bits out as I won't have to keep messing with the subframe/engine mounts.

Now I have actually done just this on a customers car I can tell you how I did it.

I used a gear linkage cradle from a 100/S4. This needed some steelwork trimming off and then bolted into the standard mounting locations.
I had to drill and bolt an extra mounting location in it.

I then just hacked, chopped, bent and welded one of the S4 selector rods until the cleared everything and were able to select every gear.

The bonus with using the S4 cradle is that it has the reverse gear stop in the correct location.

The interior trim all fits too although it is very very tight fit

I did have a urs4 rear setion housing sitting in the car with the s2 front half of the linkage, this didn't work as it was too short to join the two bits together. I did enlarge the holes on the base so it fitted in the car properly and also cut the front off the base section for the urs4 ball section so it would move forward a bit more. Still no joy....

                                Feeling flush Pete ? lol

Any reason why you chose to go down that route, dry break joints are a bit "motorsport"

Either well, can't fault them for looking good.
