Funnily enough, Ive not had a single ticket in the last 10 years of driving high performance cars, but had loads in crappy slow ones

To explain the different maps:

Originally after all the RS4 and K04 bits were added, it was custom mapped at MRC and made 465BHP.
Unfortunatly it suffered from a hesitation when on part throttle, which is something that a lot of K04 converted ones do.
No one seemed to know why, and tried tons of different things to try and solve it with no real solution.
The thing is, when used on full throttle is perfect with no hestitation, so just the thing for full on runs, track days and drag strips.

Since then, the current owner spent some time over with Viper on the Isle of Man doing some live mapping and general tweeking, which has resulted in the 400bhp map which has been setup specifically for everyday driving on A roads and similar.
This is a very responsive and progressive map which has no hesitation problems.

Viper is about to be starting to do switchable map modifications on ECU's, this is the first (and currently the only one) customer car that has had it done. You can switch between maps on the fly at any time with a switch on the dash

Having been in clives rs4 spec s4 i ca,n say that after 80mph they are awsome and make the s2 feel quite slow

Nice. If I was moving to a newer car I would be after an S4 like that but an Avant. I like the spec you have going on there too.

A mate used to have a silver S4 avant like that standard apart from the switcheable revo remap and I drove that a few times. Went like stink. I bet yours goes like an absolute rocket and that nothing can keep up. Also like the front bumper. Subtle!
