Have a search for leak, loads of suggestions, quite common

I found my leaks by sitting in the car whilst somebody hosed water over, see where it is coming in, if its running out the bottom of trims then you might have to remove them to see where it comes in further up.

    My suggestions where to look

    sunroof drains
    bonnet release cable grommet
    sunroof seal
    door seal
    windscreen surround
    fusebox seal
    firewall grommets

If the carpet is soaked then drying out the insulation underneath will be a pain.

    Good luck

Whats the score with sunroof seal... I have water getting into mine now and it can only really be from there. This is a NEW leak... I solved the bonnet cable grommet, then the door triangle, then the door seal. I have water coming in from an entirely new place now - damned thing... just started this week.

I thought the sunroof seal was permeable, then water is guided down channels where it comes out at bottom of a-pillar. My channels aren't blocked so I am a bit perplexed - never dismantled sunroof area for an investigation before - really not looking forward to that.

theres a drip tray paul that should guide water towards the sides then off down to the 4 exit points. the plastic carrying it can become brittle over time so its possible its broken and hence leaking in. You're right that its not a water tight seal, where abouts is it wet?

That sounds plausible Dave... The water drips down from the a low spot in headlining at the corner where it meets the top of the A-pillar.

Hopefully its only a teency crack that can be solved by Captain Tolleys wonder product.

never had any problems with my coupe.............. since I put it in the garage

Pual are you sure its not the windscreen seal at the top corner? Mine was dripping from there, I used some 3M mastic and sealed up the tops of the extrernal A-piller trims - that sorted it

It cannot be the windscreen seal as the water collects above that point while sitting stationary - on the flat.

Its a metal sunroof - permeable metal by the looks of things - is the metal one more or less prone to leaks ?
