My Missus is very good too... But then she don't have much choice...:mischeif:

I pay for Her Car - Start to finish - And as long as what I buy, comes from my car fund theres not much else she can do....

Well there is and I have shown her wher the front door is if she don't like it....

Re wanting and S2 I totally Understand BUT as a day to day car its hard work and bloody expensive to keep...

Hence why I just love my MK2 GTI as an every day run around...

BUT give me the open road... S2 all day, any day (As long as I don't have anything to pick up when I get there with it being a coupe!!)...

There not the easiest of car to love around town....

Heavy Gear Change, Heavy Clutch, harsh ride, unresponsive steering - not so much round town...

When compared to the like's of a MK2 Golf!!

I also get really peeded off when I want to keep my Low Mileage car in a as near perfect condition as I can when you can't buy the ruddy parts as VAG Have dropped them....

Fecks me off when you talk to BMW & Merc Classic owners and how easy parts are to buy NEW for their car, from the stealers...

The Golf is just as bad for parts but at least there are patten parts if the worst happens... and there are millions of Golfs knocking around!!

Try making them understand that you want to build up a USDM Coupe or 90 to S2+ levels At least with an S2 or RS2 to start with the thing can get out of it's own way!
