Try some of the Reg sellers... But I have had a couple for sale with 'em for over a year... So Not much is selling and take the value with a pinch of salt!!

Unfortunately the answer comes down to the old adage "it's worth what someone's prepared to pay for it".

Just depends whether that one guy whom it means something to is looking right now.

If you're breaking the car then just put it up for sale and see what offers you get.

If you go to most reg sales websites, you can put in the reg and get a quick email response to what they'd give you.

Clearly they'll mark it up - but at least they will spot the potential.

Also just try it on Ebay.

well lads the reg to this car is. J2 GKC and its off a 93 3b s2 coupe that had been
rs2ed by MTM i have the car about two years alot had been done to this car. and i often wondered if the reg was worth anything. i can can t use it in ireland as its not permited.

TBH, that plate doesnt really spell anything, there are hundreds of "J2 xxx" prefix plates on DVLA site £250 all in and that includes transfer fee etc..
