I friend of mine here in Georgia has had a RS2 reflector on his coupe for a while now. If I remember correctly the contour of the reflector isn't an exact match with the outer lights. Only a picky A$s would notice though. He doesn't have the grab handle either.
I think the ones i have seen have quite likely been tinted red completly, the white reverse lights dont do much for me in the one above,if done well it can look spot on,(the b2 80 v6 at adi had the backend all tinted red for instance) as mentioned the placing of the rear number plate could be an issue though
The dark blue RS2 coupe that lived at Sal's lock-up for a while looked great, with properly modded Rs2 rear bumper too of course.... without that it looks out of place and a bit pants IMHO.
Leave it as the factory intended in this case. Only suitable for an Avant or Saloon.
@ Salinot, he didn't ask for this critique, but he should loose the wheels, (go to five stud as well), headlight eyebrows, stubby ariel, the chrome trim around the edge of the grille, the front bumper, the rear bumper and red panel, sometimes the factory gets it right, as in the Coupe's red panel. Like I said he may not even know his car is posted for all comers to comment so apologies if it causes any offence.
David. you're a gentleman as always. Don't worry........the owner of this coupe has always marched to the beat of a different drummer and has thick skin. For example, he's owned few Pug 505s diesel estates.
