Had and raced a superlight (R400) twas fantastic! did two seasons and loved it! so quick!
NOT on the road! far too dangerous! A granny in a micra would flatten it!
Have a customer with R400 and is road reg, told him not to bother with a road reg one. He understands what I mean since track daying it, just too quick for road.

Speak to Hoffer - he had one with a mental Cossie engine in it - IIRC he picked it up in manchester - and drove it back down south via london etc (for a spin) seem to remember something about a bonnet coming up at ridiculous speeds - I didnt ride in it but I would imagine in the right weather that the feeling would be pretty hard to beat (within reason) ;-)Comment

A friend of mine is pretty much finished rebuilding a seven that he picked up for a good price. It was fully built and running when he bought it but alot of the work was done by a non perfectionist so he has redone the whole lot. The IVA test is pretty hard to get through i think so he is just going to race it then sell it.
Iv also been told that turbo engines are scary as the cars are so tail happy the boost can throw you if you are not ready for it. I think a honda s2000 engine would be a good one to have though.Comment

ive got a few mates with them, 1 super blackbird powered, 1 420bhp 4wd cossie power few with zetecs in k series and a pan european engine in 1 too. ive only ever been in the blackbird powered 1 and it was scary, as if no one could see it due to extreme lowness and the amount of people that pulled out at junctions etc has put me off ever having one. but it was seriously quick lol also quicker than the cossie'd 1 up to 100mphComment
