This split screen van is the only matt black car in this thread , the others are all satin to some degree at least . I think some of these start as matt but a clear coat is added for protection and thus it ends up with a satin shine to it . Proper matt black looks like charcoal, no shine what so ever. Unfortunately it is raw paint and easily damaged , but also easy to fix with a spray can.

Seen some more Scandinavian S2 coupes with that bodykit. AddeAudi has the same kit. I thought it was a company named Adolfsson making these gfk fenders. www.acm-ab.se

Judging from the pics i'd hazard a guess at modded a2 ur lwb arches, it wouldn't be too hard to do this to a coupe. I had a look at doing it before.

Mat blue Lamborghini

I snapped these a couple of years ago at the Detroit Show. I agree with others that you can't just paint any car mat and have it work. I thought the blue looked fantastic here.

Sprayed with rattle cans over the rust n holes. No laquer. No washing or cleaning. Finish is like a fine grit sandpaper.

When it looks that fooked its easy to bait porsches to their doom. I fondly remember a young stock-broker type driving a 911 with his honey. She was pointing at the TA blondly asking 'whats that'. Stock-broker replied 'its american **** - watch this...'

The lights changed and his ***** shrunk (may even have turned completely inside out) as my homebrewed menace very publicly handed him his ***. Funnily enough there wsn't any stock-broker eye contact at the next set of lights. :mischeif:
