    AEL into b5 A4 tdi

Looking for some help here as I would like a wee project and wondering what is involved in fitting the AEL 5 pot into a A4 1.9tdi quattro. I am sure I have seen someone on here who has put the AAN into a A4 B5 CHASSIS.

I can get my hands on a AEL with 2wd 6 speed.

Can the 6 speed be adapted to 4wd?
Engine wiring loom from ael to a4 loom?
    Driveshaft?
    Propshaft etc.

Just a idea or would it be pointless if there is a 130 tdi available......

    Any help would be great.

the bloke who put the AAN into the b5 was 'sleeperavant',pretty sure i read somewhere that 'if he had to do it again he wouldn't' or something similar, pretty much everything had to be remade/relocated.

As much as i like the ael i think it would be too much work involved to make it worthwhile(imho)

edit 'If i knew how much work it was gonna be i wouldnt have started it!'

i can imagine, but hes made a good job of it in the end

        Try http://forums.tdiclub.com/forumdisplay.php?f=13 for 200bhp + 1.9TDi's - wouldn't be worth changing to AEL IMO
