Going to be travelling to northwest of Frankfurt in a months time and was wondering if anyone knows of any great roads to take in on the way there / back?
I am going past the Eifel national park and the Rhein Westerwald / Nassau NaturPark. Looks to be some good twisty roads in there. Any ideas?
Hi Pete, well with the Eifel national park and the Rhein Westerwald you are already pretty good! Don't miss the Taunus hills in the North of Frankfurt....nice drive, too.
Do you want to take your Baby on the Autobahn as well? And stop by the Nürburgring! (I have lived in Wiesbaden and Bonn for a while so I know the area a little, if you got any other questions) what kind of quattro-audi are you driving? RS2?
B258 from Aachen to the Ring, one of my farourite roads in the world. If you're heading for Aachen through Belgium turn off to Eupen and head across the border towards Schleiden and join the B258 there. Watch out for cameras in the villages.
Trier to koblenz autobahn usually not to many cars on there and some great LONG straight bits so you can do some mega top speeds:mischeif: and better still NO speed limits
are they all setup for sending out tickets from euroland to us lot now?Its a long while ago since i got flashed by a camera(maybe 10 years ago)never got anything through the post here.On the otherhand australia are well on the ball, had a ticket on the doormatt before i had even got back home
Wish I'd checked in earlier, live in Luxembourg and we have a great 2.5km long tunnel on a motorway with hardly any traffic on it ..... shame I don't have my S2 anymore :-(
