I'll just be watching the BBC ones unless I can find someone who I can borrow their sky player login details and then stream it

From the website, it seems like a Sky+ HD subscription is all that's required to get the F1 channel and Brundle has now defected over to Sky too; which is nice

Discover Sky TV packages with Netflix included. Watch exclusive Sky Originals, top‑rated shows and films, and stream your way with Sky Stream or Sky Glass.

Watch the best live coverage of your favourite sports: Football, Golf, Rugby, Cricket, Tennis, F1, Boxing, plus the latest sports news, transfers & scores.

Is there seriously anyone in the known universe that would rather watch Sky over the current BBC set-up?

Whatever Sky charge, I would pay double to keep the BBC

Martin Brundle has announced he is joining Sky Sports F1 HD from next season.

" I need to commentate on every race live. Recorded and delayed sports television doesn't give me the adrenalin fix I crave."
Martin Brundle Quotes of the week

The commentator has confirmed he is to switch to Sky's dedicated Formula 1 channel, which will show every race in the calendar live, as well as all practice and qualifying sessions.

Sky Sports is to show each Grand Prix without the interruption of adverts and Brundle said that was a key element of his decision to switch from the BBC.

And he is also excited by Sky's commitment to bringing technical innovation to their coverage of the sport.
Thats both grumble points blown out the water

I'm glad it's gone to sky and they will have their own channel, really looking forward to it, sorry but the bbc coverage is naff, only the intro music of the chain will I miss

Might be a bit tight, but been looking at getting foreign satellite subscription to avoid paying murdochs for one channel and having 5 live on for commentary

The fact you can get the F1 channel on an HD subscription may be tempting me back into considering this. And Sky have just installed an LLU into our exchange so I can get 20mb from them vs 8mb from BT from April when my contract is up.

£360/yr is too expensive for a bunch of useless channels, but I'm looking at spending £200 on a decent freesat box anyway, factor in £100 voucher and £100 cash-back, plus saving on an unlimited BB combo deal vs current, and it's effectively free for the first year :mischeif:

F1's good, but it's not that good.
No way am I paying. Principal with me to.
Get eveybody hooked, then start charging.
This isn't just F1, it's slowly creeping across the whole of TV.

The masses will pay though, and Mr Ecc and Mr Mur know this, and that's why they have a BOB or two.
